City of Cards C4.8: HERE!
I miss snow. Even light, kinda gross, slushy snow and cold air would be nice. It's the kind of weather that makes you conscious of your body and the fact that you're alive. It also makes hot food and warm blankets the best things ever.
Hot weather just makes you feel sticky (unless it's a gorgeous summer night).
That said, I also really miss trains. Trains are unbelievably great for relaxing and meditating in. Train commuting is far preferable to driving. So, I guess if those are your options it makes it pretty easy.
I've been slowly starting to work on Chapter Two edits. I've been reluctant to go through again and pick out all the panels I want to change, but I'm making a start. The beginning and end of the chapter feel the weakest to me (considering a good chunk of the beginning of Chapter Two contains some of the earliest CoC art that's understandable).
I'm not sure of my current goal timeline except get as much done as possible.
I've begun working on a collaboration project as well, nothing I can really share too much about aside from the fact that it's with a university and it involves me drawing art for someone else using their work translated from Spanish to English. It's a bit daunting and I hope that it comes together smoothly. This is my first time doing anything like this.
I'll be heading back to Vermont for the summer as well to work on some stuff. I actually think it'll help me refocus and get a lot done.
That's all for now, I'll have sketches and stuff up next week.
