If you've ever suffered retail, this girl knows your pain.
I'm running pretty low on stuff to say. I've been putting in 12+ hour days with work and commute because of all kinds of expected and unexpected crunches, but that's pretty much to be expected when you're working at a comic book company and you've got about a month to get ready for San Diego.
I also accidentally lost several hours worth of inks through interrupted file transfers. Oops. So yeah, I've got a lot of catching up to do. This will, however, NOT effect updates. I'm still keeping up on that no matter what.
I keep having all these idea for sketches and stories that I want to tackle. I keep being encouraged by all the amazing friends I have that keep creating even when times get tough.
If you're like me, you love to follow the process of a vision come to life. I highly recommend looking at the work Jessie Boudrie has been putting up for his Nightmaiden comic. (Which also means that he should put up all the awesome sketches he's shown me on his blog for others to see)
